and Workers Compensation
Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) treatment benefits
patients with a range of conditions: limited ROM, muscle disuse atrophy,
muscle spasms, muscle re-education and more. Now, with The Training
Room, practices serving workers comp patients can prescribe TENS
units directly. Rather than referring patients – and profit – to
other providers, your practice captures revenue and improves continuity
of care.
Built to benefit your practice
and your patients
The Training Room designed the TENS program so any practice can
quickly and seamlessly begin capturing revenue. Here’s how
it works:
- Your practice receives a complimentary demonstration TENS
unit and instructions on application and use.
- Though your practice
prescribes TENS, The Training Room secures preauthorization and
processes all claims on behalf of your practice.
- Upon receiving authorization, The Training Room ships a TENS
unit directly to your patient and arranges for return shipping – eliminating
your need to track and store units.
With this program, the practice receives reimbursement for the TENS
unit from the insurer and pays The Training Room for the unit purchase
and billing services. The final result: a practice can typically
net hundreds of dollars for a single TENS prescription. Practices
can also opt for an alternative model that bypasses their internal
operations, where they simply direct prescriptions to The Training
Room and we handle all aspects of patient care.
